Split for you
Each timesheet is split at midnight and around any sleepover, and every piece is marked weekday, Saturday, Sunday or public holiday (for the site's state).
Every change is recorded
Changes to times, break, worker, profession or level are logged as amendments. A change after export flags the timesheet to export again.

What's in the CSV

One row per timesheet

  • Employee, site, state and time zone; profession, level, award classification and pay point.
  • Clock in and out, break, worked hours, sleepover window and hours.
  • Hours by weekday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday.
  • Approval, approved at, and whether it's a re-export.
  • No pay amounts: your payroll system applies the rates.

Hours rules

Worked out automatically

  • Worked hours are the time on shift minus the break.
  • The break comes off the part of the shift that holds its midpoint.
  • Sleepover time isn't counted as worked hours; it's shown separately.

How to

Download timesheets for payroll

RosteringTimesheetsExport timesheets

  1. 1Optionally filter the list by facility or worker first; the export uses the same filters.
  2. 2Press Export timesheets and set From and To (work dates).
  3. 3Approval: all completed, approved only, or awaiting approval only. You can export before approval; the file has an Approval column.
  4. 4Include: everything in the range, not exported before, or amended since export.
  5. 5Layout: one row per timesheet with hours by weekday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, or one row per day segment.
  6. 6Press Export CSV. The file downloads and appears under the Exports tab, where you can download it again.

Approve a timesheet

RosteringShiftsshiftApprove

  1. 1Timesheets are approved through their shift: open the shift and press Approve. The timesheet takes the approved start, end and break.

Re-send changed timesheets

RosteringTimesheetsAmended since export

  1. 1This tab lists timesheets changed after you exported them.
  2. 2Export with Include: Amended since export. Exporting clears the Re-export flag.

If something goes wrong

A shift has no timesheet

Timesheets are created when a shift ends with a worker and both a start and an end time. Pending or cancelled shifts never have one.

"No timesheets match these filters"

Widen the dates or clear the facility and worker filters. The dates are the days worked.

A timesheet shows Voided

Its shift was voided or a completed shift was cancelled. Voided timesheets are never exported.

I can't edit a timesheet here

Times are corrected on the shift, at approval. The timesheet updates and records the change.
