No Payroll module? Export timesheets
Rostering → Timesheets → Export timesheets gives your payroll system every worker's hours, split by weekday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday.
One run per cut-off
A run is created automatically shortly after each payroll cut-off (set on Settings → Agency → Accounting).

How to

Process a pay run

PayrollPay Runs

  1. 1Open the run for the period. Check its lines.
  2. 2Press Export Excel to download it for payment. The run becomes Exported.
  3. 3Once paid, select the lines and press Mark as Paid. When every line is paid the run is settled.

Create a run yourself

PayrollPay RunsGenerate Run

  1. 1Choose the Period Start and Period End (Cutoff), then Generate Run.
  2. 2Only one run can exist per cut-off; void the old one first if you need to redo it.

Void a run

PayrollPay RunsrunVoid Run

  1. 1Runs can be voided until they're exported. Their lines go back to pending for the next run.

Without the Payroll module

  1. 1Export a CSV of hours for your payroll system. See the Timesheets guide.

If something goes wrong

I can't see the Payroll menu

Payroll is a separate module, included from the Professional plan. Without it, export timesheets instead.

"Exported runs cannot be voided"

Once a run is exported it's final. Correct the pay in your payroll system, or contact support.

"No pending payroll lines found for this period"

Every completed shift up to that cut-off is already in a run, or none ended in the period.
